The San Francisco 49ers have begun the process of cutting their roster down to the NFL-mandated 53 players by Tuesday's deadline.
The 49ers are one of the few teams that have not yet released any players, but that is expected to change soon.
The team has until 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday to make all of their cuts, and they are expected to make a number of moves before then.
The 49ers have a number of players on the bubble, including several veterans who could be released to make room for younger players.
